Street Outlaws star James "Doc" Love approached Design by Binnie in 2022 for a design render after he purchased his Screw Blown Hemi-powered Nova from previous Design by Binnie customer and multi-time, multi-continent Pro Mod Champion, Adam Flamholc.
In 2022 the design was mainly subtle changes from the previous guise the car was in when owned by Adam.
The main changes being the name, from 'The Viking' to 'Heavy Metal' and the stripe colour changing from black to Doc's trademark blue.
For 2023 Doc elected to repaint the whole car in a new custom mix based on his trademark Blue.
The car has turned a corner performance wise at recent events this year and is getting stronger and stronger.
