Steve Curl's Ford Consul in in the process of being rebuilt after an incident at Santa Pod a couple of years back when the car ended up sliding for hundreds of feet on its side.

The incident lead to the new name "Sidewinder."

 

The car is being rebuilt in a Pro Street style and will be street legal. The motor is a 427ci LS7 making 800bhp on motor... but that's not enough for Steve so it'll be making more like 1,200bhp thanks to a generous dose of nitrous oxide.

The two tone paint job features a cream top with Volvo Saffron Gold for the bottom inspired by Tom Bailey's "Sick Seconds" Camaro.
